  1. Among many truths, Francis showed the importance of having Popes from outside Europe, who actually know the people in need. That’s where the Church is needed and wanted. I hope this Conclave understands it and chooses a Pope from a developing country.

  14. Philippines has the most number of Catholics in Asia. I have been to Japan, Thailand, China, Macau and Hongkong where Catholics are not prevalent. Having a pope from the Philippines could greatly increase the number of Catholics in Asia. Tagle speaks in English, the most used language, the mass could easily be understood all over the world.

  27. From what I have read about Cardinal Fridolin Ambongo. I believe he lives his life Christ like. Unafraid to speak against the evil warlords in Africa even when his life is endangered. Lives among the poor and simply.

  28. Tagle is a good person, but if only he is white. He would be a Pope, but lets face the reality, lets accept. Often Western Cardinals, but I doubt. It depends to the Cardinals. if they elect an East Asian Pope that is align what Pope Francis wanted. To make Catholics more Christian's rather than to be an oppressor.   48. Make no mistake, this Pope was very sympathetic with the communist dictatorship of Cuba and Venezuela. Never not even a word of support to the 11J protesters or to the political prisoners in Cuba. Ridiculous
