After Joël was murdered i played on another hour or two. Ellie is in the city now,and quit the game. It was a pre order. I regret ever buying it😢😢.
As someone who never played the games Joel getting killed was a Ned Stark moment for me. Didn't see it coming at all. Speaking of GoT Bella was great as a hard nose little shit kid leader in it but now that she's older it just doesn't work anymore. Not for this character. Trying to make her a badass when she is clearly a severely weak tiny little girl just na man.
The first Last of Us game was about a father's love and the lengths that he would go to protect "family'

y'all knew what you were doing by watching this garbage show in the first place. i don't get why you consume that stuff even though you hate it, then you complain in youtube comments, but STOP WATCHING MAYBE ? it's like with disney and woke movies, you still pay to see the garbage, and you complain on internet but who cares ? stop giving them money, you're more useful not watching than coming here, pretending to be fake intellectual critics but with no audience, you're the problem too.

Adapt a poorly-received story faithfully, you get a poorly-received adaptation. Druckmann can't feasibly blame "toxic gamers" for this.
I'd like to think that the reason the survivors managed to defeat the infected was because it was planned. It's kind of a normal-ish strategy to lose some ground in order to take it back later, they probably let the infected inside to funnel them, making them easier to shoot, and the mopped them up from up high where they couldn't reach. The strategy obviously works much much better against an enemy without functioning IQ as anyone with said IQ could see it coming and fight at range.
I understand the why, of Joel’s death. I just don’t get why the show runners would want this series to end after only 2 or 3 seasons. 🤔

4:41 – this is EXACTLY what I thought about Joel’s actions being totally justifiable. But from other critics and gamers, they instantly made him the villain for doing this.
possible worst casting in history, so yeah an ugly Ellie it's ok , but a skinny Abby that a wind could blow her away makes no sense , Abby's body in the game is the result of too much exercising to revenge her dad's death

Unpopular opinion here because people love the show, but as a huge fan of the games while being a massive cinema head of this genre, I cannot get over the casting of Ellie and the amount of wokeness they have infected the show with. Kaitlyn Dever (Abby) seems better off as Ellie than who she plays…

But to just assume without a man or evidence that an actress can't sustain the show. That is alleged misogyny. Bella is a very good actress.
why so many people are still jabbering on about the little girl not being pretty enough +2 years on when this video's talking about the new episode that came out just a few days ago is beyond me

I am amazed that people still watch this shit … it started out okay but quickly devolved to the point where the best part became just two random gay fella's trying to make a life for themselves.
I don't hate it but I just applied paint to a wall and rather watch that dry over watching more of the Last of Us
its like they get new writers that never heard of the story to write each episode. YOu can kill fifty soldiers single handed in one episode and in the next a few gay teens kill you
first episode ruined it. the gay teen romance? they just don't learn… SUCKS
Even if Game of Thrones turned into a pile of hot steaming … It didn't show us Arya Stark kicking ass like for no other reason than "she's been wronged" and "girl power". Nah nah nah – she went trough hell and back, spen years learining, scheming, training, probably getting some weird magic, or whatever Marting's shifting ideas of mystical powers was at the moment and even then, she would not just beat up people 3 times her size, neither she would just win a sword fight agians a knight who spent her entire life training.
Then we have River Tam from Firefly. She would beat up grown man, but we get to see how a tehcnologically advanced and evil rganization used to do all kinds of weird epxeriments to her, so that they can use her as super soldier assasin or whatever.
It made sence, in their respetive stories, that girls with the proper training and "augmentation", being genetic, magical or whatever, would be winning against people.
But here? How and why is Ellie a ninja, wrestler, assasin? Becuase she's a traumatized gay girl boss? I mean what else is there? How am I to take it seriously, when a kid is shown to beat up people 3 times her size?
Why does Ellie look like a child of Rocky Dennis from the movie Mask?
