Tokyo all the way. One thing I like about the Japanese is that they understand proportion with style. So regardless of what they are wearing, it always looks great on the body.

Japan can't have more style than the county they're copying. We aren't wearing kimonos, and listening to God knows whatever music they created. They wear jeans and listen to rap. 😂

In fact, the world copies us they copy our musicians they copy our actors they copy anybody that’s in America’s light.. in fact, if we wear it, their neighbors will take it and mass produce forgeries of it and resell it. just seen a thing that showed them copying our Afros and braided hairstyles. OMG, I almost spilled my coffee! That man in the green shirt in NYC—I thought it was my husband! He’s an old retired Marine, 56 years old, but his style and fashion are just like that guy’s. He even has the same shirt! and wear Marine Corp hat. Our daughter said, ‘WTH, Dad!!!😂😂😂
Tokyo takes more inspiration from NY. So I'd give it to NY. That's where everything was created. We created true street culture hands down. You can't compare them.😂

NYC embraces Diversity from peoples different Body types, to the different languages, To our various Skin tones, to our variety of culture, to our many different hair types. NYC is that place.
Tokyo is on another level with everything, not just fashion. The endless skyscrapers, lights, energy, language, culture, interior design, fashion etc all play off each other and adds to the shock value of how people dress out there. Your mind can't handle it all and you're just overwhelmed and shocked by it. You don't get that same shock value in NYC or anywhere in the West, except maybe Paris and Milan, but Tokyo is WAY more varied and widespread in terms of fashion.
